In my research work, I focus on one hand on diagnostics and support during the learning process and on the other hand on digitization in and at elementary schools. The main focus is on early learning and the use of digital formative assessments.

In this context, I will examine the extent to which digitalized diagnostic procedures can be used in early childhood education and what advantages and disadvantages arise for participants.

One instrument I will examine in more detail is ILeA plus Deutsch. It is a digitalized instrument for learning process accompanying diagnostics and support in the subject German at the primary level. It was developed for elementary schools in the state of Brandenburg and is intended to support elementary school teachers in their diagnostic work.
