Research Study

  • In 2024, an online survey of daycare centres in Saxony will be conducted to analyse regional cooperation structures and the quality of cooperation in the area of inclusion. A qualitative accompanying study with a specific focus on the implementation conditions of inclusion in Saxon daycare centres for children with physical and motor impairments is also planned.
  • The project will focus on the quality of inclusive or integrative care and the integration of daycare centres into local support networks. The study aims to investigate interactions between the availability of support systems and the educational opportunities (attitudes of daycare centre teams, willingness to accept children, skills in the daycare centre team) for children with disabilities and children with a migration background.
  •  In addition to being used for the research questions, the results are to be made usable for control processes through content and graphic processing.

Development of a web application

With the help of a design-based research approach and in cooperation with local stakeholders (daycare centres, support systems, parents), a digital service for daycare centres will be developed that can be used throughout Saxony, providing a simple overview of regional counselling services and enabling daycare centres and parents to make contact with support systems at a low threshold.
