In this project we are researching how moral emotions develop in children. In doing so, we are also testing the use of different methodological approaches.
Moral emotions have a decisive influence on moral and prosocial behaviour.
The aim of the MonKeE project is therefore to research the development of moral emotions and at the same time to find out how they can be adequately recorded.
For this purpose, children between the ages of 5 and 10 will be interviewed. In addition to the interviews, the latest facial recognition software is used. In this way, it is possible to gain deeper insights into underlying processes.
