Abstract
Since 01.04.2021, I have been a professor of inclusive education with a focus on special needs learning at the University of Leipzig and I am pleased to be able to train future special needs teachers in the field of pedagogy and didactics in special needs learning. Before that, I was a professor at the University of Cologne for 5 1/2 years and was involved in the training of teachers of all types of teaching posts with a view to inclusion. Further stations were the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg, the University of Bremen and the St.-Elisabeth-Schule in Steinfurt, where I completed my traineeship.
My research focuses on school diagnostics, teacher training for inclusive education, conditions for successful inclusive teaching, teaching methods for joint learning and learning disabilities, cooperative support planning and cooperative counselling.
