Study Office

The staff of the Study Office of the Faculty of Education are responsible for three major fields of activity: Study coordination, semester planning and curriculum management.

The study coordinators mediate between teachers, students and administration. They are responsible for ensuring that the courses offered in the various degree programmes and areas are based on the respective study and examination regulations. They advise students and lecturers on questions relating to studies and teaching.

The semester planner is responsible for compiling the course offerings and displaying them in the AlmaWeb campus management system for each semester.

The curricular manager transfers the administrative specifications of the study and examination regulations into the AlmaWeb campus management system so that student data such as module and course registrations as well as examination results can be adequately and properly recorded.

The administration of student examination data takes place in the Central Examination Office. This includes the booking of so-called recognised achievements (from previous degree programmes) and sickness certificates for specific examination dates.

You can find all further information on examination matters here.
